What TurnYourClaim does

TurnYourClaim helps people understand vehicle warranty disputes and insurance claims, then organize the information they need to act. Our main subjects are used-car warranty rights, diminished value after repairs, and total-loss valuations. Our existing state accident guides remain available.

The site provides plain-language guides, calculators, and a free claim document checklist. A calculator illustrates a method; it is not an appraisal or a promise of compensation. A checklist helps organize records; it does not establish eligibility or submit a claim.

Who runs the site

TurnYourClaim is run by Moogwang Jin, an independent researcher and publisher, and is published by Sapipine, Inc.. Moogwang Jin is not an attorney, claims adjuster, or financial advisor. The byline identifies publishing responsibility, not professional legal review.

How we research and update guides

  • Start with the applicable source. We use statutes, regulator guidance, court decisions, and other primary materials when explaining legal rules. We link readers to the source where relevant.
  • Separate drafting from checking. We use AI-assisted research and drafting, followed by a separate review step. This process can still miss errors; it is not a substitute for legal advice.
  • Explain the relevant conditions. State, seller, warranty terms, vehicle history, and the type of claim can change the answer. We aim to make these distinctions clear rather than promise an outcome.
  • Correct identified problems. A published date identifies release; an update or review date identifies the corresponding work, not a guarantee that every rule remains unchanged. Report outdated or conflicting information with the page URL.

How the site is funded

We use Google AdSense advertising. Ads are separate from editorial recommendations and may be personalized according to Google’s settings and applicable choices.

No paid referral or affiliate partnership is currently active. If we activate one, the relevant link will identify the commercial relationship before you click. A listing would not guarantee acceptance, an attorney-client relationship, or recovery. We do not collect case records for onward sale through the checklist.

What we do not provide

We do not represent clients, give advice on individual cases, file claims, negotiate with insurers, or value individual vehicles. For help with your situation, use the outside-help resources and check the provider’s qualifications and fees directly.
